Meteors

By MikeA
Bottom left quadrant is an aircraft, top right quadrant 3 meteors of varying lengths.
Taken on Thursday / Friday, there were at least 5 fireball meteors, all overhead and out of camera range during the 4hr session Sad of 240 images only 10 yielded signs of meteor trails with this being the best.

Pretty amazing stuff. The evening sky is a wonder at the best of times. I used to lie on the deck when I went sailing, the sky at night in secluded places is something we see less of in town.
Hope to do some star trails up in Tongue next month.

Totally awesome to view large. I'm surprised too to see them trails and stars so clearly - I'm seeing city lights way in the distance. Here, we have to go way, way out in the country to be able to get something like this. It's beautiful Mike.

Hi, Kim, luckily only on the filter, used a Brillo instead of a Microfine pad to clean it Wink
