I was on Kefalonia a couple of weeks ago for a break and to shoot some stock images for one of our forthcoming photography courses.
We'd spent a day on a beach relaxing and shooting pics as we found them and as the sun started to sink I couldn't resist the shafts of light coming from behind a cloud. Let's face it - most of us are suckers for a good sunset!
I had the lens at 70mm to compress the waves as much as possible whilst still maintaining the composition I wanted. I exposed minus 1 stop to darken the sky and get those beams of light going, then just had to wait till the waves were in the right place to get the reflection on the beach.
