Water Water Everywhere!

By mikebrowne
This was taken in Egypt for a Cokin advertorial only like a complete arse I'd left my tripod in Cairo and had to wedge the camera on a rock!!

Jayne and I found the location around mid day but the light was far too harsh to attempt an 'evening' look, so we came back as the real sunset was happening off to my left and behind.

I used a tobacco grad filter with the gradation fading away just above the boat. The rosy glow on the side of the boat is actually a reflection from the real sunset.

Very nice capture, great colour graduation in the sky. The light during the day in Egypt is rather harsh, ok for some photography but not anything like this.
