West burton Falls 2

By MikeH
Another from my day in Wensleydale yesterday. The light was so changeable and contrasty and HDR did nothing for it so this is a blended exposure, then tone mapped. The colour of the water was superb with all the heavy rain off the fells.

Nice low height for this shot, it makes a world of difference with this world.
You did great job of blended exposure and captured some great colours.
Think I may given the bland sky some attention, this is a great photograph.

Congratulations.

Like the contrasting creamy colour of the light on the falls, works well with the clarity of the rest of it...

Wonderful depth to this, Beautiful capture of the waterfall, you've caught some smashing light on it there. Love all the texture and detail in the foreground rocks too.

Hi Mike.

Cracking compo and colours. Think this would have had so much more votes if the waterfall had been pure white.

Still a beauty.

Paul.
