This was a young somewhat dazzed Sparrowhawk that was in our small garden for sometime. I don't know whether it had flown into something but you could get quite close. Eventually flew off. Hope its OK

Lovely pic, and really sharp..... either you got really close, or you cropped the space around him/her. Could do with a bit more, I think. What a superb experience.

Thanks for your comments SueEley, actually got quite close 15/20 feet away and then used the zoom to fullest extent (x35), not sure whether you think I should have a bit more space around him, as I have missed the top of his head or could do with cropping even more? It certainly was one of those rare occcurences, though I had a similar one with a Buzzard a month or two ago but unfortunately it was later found dead. Hope this will have a better fate.
