ROCKET 111

By Mikelane
hi guys ,i uploaded the front of this bike a while ago ,triumph have always been up there with the best, but now i would say leading in many ways,a very close friend of mine from australia ,you will know her as rhonda ,she had her own harley Davidson, she informes me that in australia at the momment that triumph rocket 111 is fast out growing the harley ,and that more and more bikers are going towards the triumph rocketwhilst i know they are two very different bikes ,and when you consider the hareys reputation,i think thats got to be a really big thumbs up for uk bikes, thanks for your C/Cs on my last upload ,regards
Mike large is worth a look if you have time

The Rocket is a damn sexy bike. The rear mudguard looks like a wheel arch from a VW Beetle...

I'd have the Rocket over any Harley, without a second thought! Might be tempted by a Buell though... Smile

i used to work for a haulage company we used to pull for triumph.
When they first started to make this bike it was sent to the USA for there thoughts to wether the bike would sell. They loved it i had the first ever Rccket 111 on the back of my lorry but it was made of wood plastic as a demo for the yanks lol.
Its come a long way sinse then.
Great shot nice bike.

Know the sum total of nothing about bikes, but it does look pretty interesting with all that chromework! At least I understood the comment about the VW Beetle mud arch, having owned a couple of those vehicles. Makes a really strong subject for an image and you've captured it well.
