The welfare of the subject has to always come first which clearly isnt happening here.

i can assure you that the little fellow was not harmed in any way! in fact he climbed up there himself!

I can Assure you the little fellow was not harmed in any way!
Harvest mice are the smallest mice and only weigh 5-11 grams they are very agile little creatures.
goldfinches land on teasel all the time and only have two feet and they weigh 11- 20 grams,
so don't worry about the welfare of the little fellow he was absolutely fine. he in fact clibed up there himself.
