Blue-bellied roller

Hello again...I am so disappointed with the effectiveness of the majority of my shots I decided to do some computer work on this pic to try and obtain the results that many of you get straight from the camera.
Does this work?

Think the clouds look a little to sharo on the one Mike, the rust coloured area at the bottom of the post is a little distracting as well. I find myself looking at it wondering what it is.
But don't get me wrong it's still a great effort...Ade

Is it better with clouds (more whispy)
to signify sky or a greeny woodland background?...Mike

I think its a very nice composition of this beautiful bird. Personally I would have lightened the bird a tad and increased the contrast. A catchlight in the eye would really bring it to life
