Could be a Rothschilds Minah Bird (Bali Starling) as it has the right colouring and general shape. The ones I seen / photographed have a crest though so I wonder if this is a juvenile or female?

Lovely detail in the bird and great dof, the larger version is exceptional.

Thanks for the comment on the butterfly. I also had trouble with the lens misting over, just used a soft cloth to wipe it clean (no doubt the pros will scream NO NO NO NEVER DO THAT YOU'll.....) and after about 10 mins the camera adjusted to the humidy itself.

good exposure, nice white whites! Beautiful detailed bird, love the blue face and the black tip in wings and tail. Well captured, Mike.
