Sparrowhawk Mk.2

This is obviously the same bird, the same shot.

Thanks for trying to help Joe/Tony but I just can't do it, I found the "brightness" but I could not find the "exposure", I could not even find the "histogram".
I have messed about with it some and while it's not as good as Tony's or Mike's, I think it's obviously better.

I find the whole concept of Photoshop so overwhelmingly frustrating that everytime I load it I regret being interested in photography.

Mike, we have all been there, it just takes time or a few books/video tutorials.

I'm sure there's some good lessons on here.

Stick at it and it will come good, this is much better btw.

Something that might help, you do not need to use Photo Shop, if you go to the Nikon Site and get NikonView it comes with a RAW editor. It is a simple tool, does not have all the belss and whistles. You can sharpen, increase and decrease the exposure and everything is right there on the tool bar. I process all my shots through the Nikon editor before I take it to Photoshop. Spot on! Click!!!
