Tiger and sunset

By MikeRC
Many thanks for all the clicks on my last pic, I was just playing around and I did not expect that.

This one is for John (strawman).(grin)
I didn't know if I dared post this but what the heck.
The tiger is mine, the sunset is not. It is one of those pictures you can use but not for gain (I think)

Incidentally Sus the tree in the last pic is the only thing that is in Africa.
(in the pic that is)

regards....Mike

I like the idea, but the light on the foreground is so clearly daylight, not sunset, that it ruins the illusion you've tried to create here. Too bad, because it could have been really good. Maybe you want to do something about that?

Got to agree with conrad. The foreground gives it away.

Ooh. Just having a break from slogging my way through a photoshop manual, saw this and knew it had to be you - lucky I caught it or I might have missed your comment to me!

Interesting effect here, but a bit OTT for me! THough I'm enjoying a good PS playaround at the mo (starting a course on Monday so trying to get to grips with the 'basics' - totally lost with the jargon!)

I see what conrad means about the foreground - looks a bit too mossy to be the kalahari too!

Nice idea but you have to pay careful attention to light direction to pull these images off. Nevertheless a fine photo comp.

It works better because you know it is a constructed shot so think does it work?rather than go straight to its fake. Now tidy up the purple fringearound the tiger and its a winner .
