Welcome, I love the large sea/landscape I usually take my photos at dusk and dawn, pursuing a dramatic edge when the light is at its best, my photos are a personal interpretation of the subject to convey how I felt about the subject. Although drawn to sea and landscapes I will photograph anything occasionally doing motor sports, still life and when I can find a subject, knackered looking buildings.

Lovely shot well found/spotted, can't beat a nice bit of decay I like how the left wheel just breaks the grass line but not into Rum I also like how the colours arn't too saturated.

  • Fairy Pools by pink

Dark and sombre I disagree I was on Skye last week and every day was wall to wall sunshine 26c LOL, I was on the Cullin ridge (left in this shot in the clouds) looking down on this at sunset. There have been a few "improvements" since we went last, the car park is massive and there is a wide footpath leading all the way up to the pools from the Cullin ridge it looked like a bright 3 lane highway of people....

I look forward to getting back for photography in more typical Skye weather as you have beautifully captured here.

Very nice shot, the star fish is amazing, perhaps a few inches higher or lower though at those rocks above the star fish sit awkwardly on the horizon line.
I have never seen so many starfish as we saw that day and I have never seen anything similar since.

Very nice indeed what a great landscape thats such a classic mountain shape, composition is spot on and you got a great sky to help, I like the people RHS for scale not sure about the two near bridge on left though they don't stand out best off removed IMO or give them red jackets haha.

Beautiful photo of a stunning view, I remeber well us laying down in the footpath trying to get some shelter from the blizzard and the horrendous wind next morning, there is a 10stop Lee filter still floating around someplace there but it was well worth the effort Smile
