Reach for the sky

By mipettin
Got a soaked right leg and a welly boot full of water crossing a burn to photograph this lone dead tree. I stepped on a marshy spot with a view to jumping the burn when my right leg dissapeared up to my knee. Taken on in the Common of Dunning, Perthshire. Will be going back one day at dawn, light was a little flat - hence the black and white treatment

I like the way that the shape of the tree seems to be carried on into the sky.

Great tree - laughed at you description - isn't it horrible when that peaty mud oozes between your toes Smile

Awesome. I agree with ericfaragh, I love the way the branches reach up and the sky and clouds become a continuation of the tree.

The B&W treatment is perfect.

I got waders for last Christmas - first thing Angela asked me was - were you wearing your waders!
