Bird Kill

By MiqsPix
In my garden this evening what I think is a Sparrow Hawk, finishing off some bird prey on my lawn. We spotted it and couldn't believe it. I had to quickly pick up my camera , change lens and settings, and try to capture the shot without disturbing the subject. Needless to say I only had one shot as I tried to recompose it saw me and flew off with it's supper!

Thanks very much to all for the kind comments. I guess in this instance I was lucky. To be fair it was my wife who spotted it outside so I have to give her credit. Wink
