During the long winter days I wanted to try something I had seen before and never attempted. This was one of a series of images I made in a home made kitchen "studio" trying to synchronise the dropping of fruit into water and using a remote speedlite flash and reflector made out of silver foil. Prior to the shot I manually focussed on a pencil placed in the approximate position of the dropping fruit.
