I have horrible memories of dealing with BT. Facts and logic and customers are weird and difficult for them.

They still provide my telephone line, but now I pay a different company. If they don't answer within ten rings, their system takes a message, and they ring back. As often as not, it's the MD who calls. No more BT mail (aka Yahoo). No more interminable calls to a call centre where Rule One is 'do what the boss says, and don't help the customer.'

Nice snaky thingy.

Love this, have my last UA of the day.
Do you know the origin of the expression going round the bend? Victorian lunatic asylums were always built in with extensive grounds, but instead of an impressive drive straight to the entrance there would be a winding route through trees, to protect inmates from prying eyes. So when you were admitted you were literally driven round the bend...

I have been trying to get my mail via BT for last 30 minutes and it keeps telling there is a problem. I opened my iPad and got my mail straight away. So is it BT or MS? One is as bad as the other!
Back to your image. It looks a nice slidey, snaky thing so back to BT?

A good way to sum up your feelings, Dave. It's just so totally 2020.

Do you wear this round your neck or charm it by playing a pungi?🤔

Whatever it's supposed to be it's a top-drawer 'product' Smile
Excellent photo, more to the point.
Best of luck with BT, Dave!

Bill

The Yahoos are characters first encountered in Jonathan Swift's satire Gulliver's Travels. A Yahoo is filthy with unpleasant habits, "a brute in human form." Yahoos are primitive creatures obsessed with "pretty stones" that they find by digging in mud, thus representing distasteful materialism and ignorant elitism. Hence the term "yahoo" has come to mean "a crude, brutish or obscenely coarse person".

It didn't respond to the Pungi so i gave it a blast of Iron Maidens 'Phantom of the Opera'. SmileSmile Worked a treat...
