Ian beat me to it - very Grace Jones, although I seem to recall David Bowie had his hair in a similar style during one of his 'straighter' periods.
Strong features enhanced by your b&w treatment, Dave. I'd like to have seen just a tiny touch more space all round. A very effective square crop.

I guess it has something to do with the gun. The aperture used makes the pistol difficult to distinguish clearly behind her head. I wondered initially if it was something from the background. I discovered what it was after noticing the handle of the pistol in her hand.
