A quick view of mitchellhatpeg's recent activity.

  • Private fishing

This is a beautifully captured image with great atmosphere. I tried covering the bush on the right with my hand, which makes me think cropping it out might even improve it further. Just a thought.

  • Ponte della Maddalena

I know this bridge very well, having managed to bottom out two seperate hire cars on two seperate holidays by dropping off of the unmarked edge of the local car- park! I am returning again this year but will not be stopping at this bridge! Devil's bridge is a very apt name Grin Simon

  • Athens from the Parthenon

This is an amazing image! Two thoughts immediately came to mind...'where's Wally' and 'that looks pixellated'. I can't imagine how it feels to live in the middle of all those houses!

  • That boat again...

This is a lovely shot with great textures and colour Smile

If you crop from the top, just enough to lose the detail in the top of the boat and the white plastic bag, turn it upside down, then crop from the 'new' right side of the picture (just enough to remove the vertical reflection of the jetty) it becomes an abstract masterpiece reminiscent of the old masters! Love it!

  • Hi Mavis, thanks for dropping in on my bit recently. I'm glad to see your work is just as popular as it always was and reaching ever higher standards. I bet you are enjoying that Canon SLR. I haven't any where as much time recently to do any photography because my work is taking up more and more of my time. Your portfolio is beautiful and reminds me of what I should be doing! best wishes, Simon.
