This is a lovely shot.

Maybe a little less saturation of the colours: or black-and-white.

Technically, a slightly higher ISO would have given more safety margin with focus and camera shake by allowing a smaller aperture and higher shutter speed, but this is pretty OK.

It may be worth tirmming the top edge to lose the top red stripe.

This is minor: a really good shot - in the main gallery, this would pick up a good few votes!

Really nice candid of the "dumpling eaters"

Its very engaging, and not easy to critique as the content on its own is a winner.

You did well to get the shot at that shutter speed, I know I couldnt.

Minor mod uploaded, rotated, and some tweaking with sharpening, white balance and exposure.

I like the mono mod too, - it look good.

I like it a lot because of the blend of colours, for example this beautiful contrast , green on terracotta red and pale yellow skin on black or this blend of green and blue, or black on terracotta.red. My crop was done to amplify the sense of brotherhood. I must admit I wanted to crop that mysterious black thing over the head of the child on the left so I cropped a bit sharply the shoe of the child on right. Tight strong bond, that is what families should be like.

A well captured little moment.
Good eye contact - not essential in street photography but it does make this image much more engaging than if there weren't any, and the eyes are bright and sparkling.

Engaging expressions and eye contact, that's why we all seem to like the image. They are engrossed in eating, that's the important thing, and I like the sitting and squatting attitudes too.

I have done a modification where I cropped to remove the surrounding clutter, concentrating on the children only, and cloned in some background where necessary. I also cloned away the lines at the top.
I feel the image is "cleaner" without destroying the street atmosphere too much.
