More Snow in Fort Worth

By monashort
After the snow on Christmas, we dried out and it was like spring for a little while. Then we broke the record held since 1963 for the most snow fall in twenty four hours. The previous record was 11 inches and we got 12.5 on February 12th.

As you can see by this photo taken on February 11th under the tree in my yard, still in full bloom, it was quite a drastic change. But such is life in Texas, never a dull moment Smile

I realize you in the colder climates probably think this is no big deal Smile But everything was shutdown for five days as trees were falling on power lines, roof damages and collapses were all around. Power outages lasted for over a week and some are still in repair, as the architecture was not designed for this climate either.

Looks pretty though Smile Hope life is good with you and yours in your part of the world. Thanks for stopping by.
