This was not the greatest image when i took it, the lighting was all off- so the skin toning was horribly differential! secondly, given that i dont own an especially high end camera, i had to set the timer and then leap into this position and then try and look relaxed!i tinkered around on photoshop- removing my dull grey background, iced up my skin and warmed out the background- all comments welcome!

ps- sorry for deleting the previous one- i just thought i liked this one better. the lip colour is lighter. the previous one had a more Mortishia Adams feels to it!

nicely done! ...the hand kinda messes it up a little, maybe if it was futher up and could be seen more clearly. anyways, thats what I feel. good composition!

This is amazing considering it's a self portrait! Very well done. Beautiful pose and love the contrast of colours.

SUPERB, I liked the original, BUT this is just that mauch better, as it's taken the hard edge of, Again a great pose, and worth all the hard work to achieve it.

You have that classic pose, like a movie star from the 1930's, so that all works very well. And you have done a good job at processing too. It doesn't look overdone or anything. Your description reminds me of this now famous YouTube video.
