Thanks for the lion suggestion guys. I did think about cropping it out but the little model Taylen was so impressed with them I decided to leave it in.

Totally agree on the L shape comp Dave and thanks for the shortlist Willie.

  • Baby boom.

Great use of DOF here Mick great control makes the eye focus on the most interesting part of the image with the help of that diagonal composition.

You must teach me the secret of rust hunting lol.

    Cheers

    Thanks Dave

I know what you mean mate things have changed tried to have a moan about it a few months ago but just not able to get on here enough to do anything about it.

I had a look through the main gallery today I think I voted 3 times in 9 pages and none of those votes inspired me to make a comment.

Not being a photographic snob as I still want to get better myself just disappointed by the quality that is allowed to be uploaded again not every shot needs to be a master piece and some can be fun but at least show a small amount of control.

How you produce your stuff mate still blows me away.

    Cheers

Hi Jo I think you are guilty of the same thing I do and that is over cooking the white background losing bits of heads and arms lol.

Just clicked your website and I have to say your baby shots are outstanding love em.

Nigel I hope you dont mind me saying that the composition of this shot doesn't look right to me a bit too central.

But the quality of the image is something I would love to be good enough to achieve, maybe one day.

One of the most frustrating things about this website at the time I made this comment this shot had 104 views but only 34 votes what the hell do people look at.

    This is really good.

  • Dar Mlodziezy.

Hi Damien if you have joined this site to be a better photographer keep reading if not click off now lol.

This is a well set up shot interesting and the lines on the floor lead you into the image.

That massive white hole in the middle of the shot leads me to believe you need a bit of practice with exposure settings.

Hope you dont mind me commenting I have because I like the shot but you could have made it a cracker.

I agree with richsr this is a lovely shot well captured but slightly let down by the orange skin tone. I would also crop just a fraction more of the right hand side but I still like it .
