Take me home!

By moocow
Hi all, hope you're enjoying your weekend. Rain has stopped play here at the moment, hope it brightens for the balloon festival.

Anyway here is a gull, I got a bit closer to it than I would have liked really, it was a little to friendly I'm sure it wanted to land on my head. At one point it was trotting down the beach following us, didn't manage to get any shots of that though, too busy running away lol. Wish the sky was a bit better it looks pretty non-descript but I like how the birdie looks Smile

I am a big fan of inflight images and they tend to be what I always set up for.
Now this Gull of yours is spot on in my book..sharp as you like showing incredible feather detail and the all important eye and beak are led to my eye in the framing.
The sky may be a little bland..but thats the sky sometimes!!..theres always the option for a little photoshop work to gently enhance it!!
All the Best

Juvenile gulls, often overlooked, have great definition in their feathers which you captured here so perfectly! Well done.
