You try and get a photo of some reeds and look what gets in the way!

Up at our local park again, hunting the kingfisher (that doesn't exist) we thought we'd check the frog spawn, no not for the kingfisher, and look what we saw. It did do a lot of flying around and I couldn't get too close. One because it moved everytime I did and two it's really big and you know how I am about small birds, imagine my heart beating with the size of this one! I know it's not really close but I am still pleased to get such a shot. Just need the kingfisher now!

Well . . . as luck would have it, you got a great image! Keep searching for that Kingfisher, I am so envious of yours there for their beauty. Ours pale by comparison, I am afraid.

never got this close a beautiful image. have decided to go down on to the shore for my heron stalking exercise , might be lucky this time , See you all later

Nicely caught Liz. The kingfisher is just to the left ad slightly out of shot.
