The Searchlight

By Morgs
This is Lac D'Anterne on the GR5 in France.
This was taken on Day 4 of my trek and as I approached the lake, I could see the light threatening to develop. I had carried some photographic equipment for the trek, and a tripod had been packed on my rucksack.

Five minutes after this light, it disappeared and didn't return again from behind the clouds that day.

Thank-you all so much for you kind comments and in many cases, UA's. I haven't taken an image that has captured so much recognition for quite a long time, and it really is very gratifying!

You picked the right moment to be there and caught the illusive light to perfection.
