Battling Knights ...............

By morpheus1955
Here are two of the knights doing battle Smile well sort of. Again I have de-saturated the back ground to emphasize the knights, if I hadn't you would have lost them in the back ground Smile The knight with the yellow and gold is actually the same guy I uploaded an image of a couple of days ago. Link The sparing involves a lot of posturing then all of a sudden one or other, maybe both suddenly make their move and its all over in a flash, hence why I didn't get a shot of the actual dragon being knocked off the helmet Smile, anyway hope this image appeals.

I have cropped the image to loose a lot of the onlookers.

Thank you all so much for all your C&C's very much appreciated

Thanks for taking the time to look

Hugh

The colour popping works well Hugh to separate the knights from the background

Good work on the de-saturation. The knights do indeed stand out well.

Cracking use of colour popping or colour splash. Nice movement captured very well.

I agree the colour popping works well
However, there is not such a contrast with the background as yesterday's image [probably because a greater percentage of the picture is the crowd today] - I just wonder if increasing the saturation of the colours might help - just a thought.

Nice bit of selective colouring here, Hugh: good action shot.

There appears to be a vulnerable patch of skin on the red knight showing a cracking bruise - excellent imageSmile

wow, you have lot of patience not to mention skill to pop these. assuming you still have the file with the layers entact i wonder whether a little blur of the crowd would also help?
