Water wheel................ Algiae

A shot of the waterwheel at Calbourne, or at least the workings and structure of it, heavily covered in algae it is made of I assume of steel. My timing was spot on as the wheel was stopped so I managed to get right up to the window over looking it which is usually closed off when the wheel is in action, health and safety Smile

Anyway hope this appeals

Probably cast iron ,a much newer bearing has been fitted ,well shot .
