Superb macro shot of this lovely Comma Butterfly, detailed to perfection, Richard. I have never managed a shot showing the white comma mark so well. Fine wing patterning and tones and wonderful textures of the perch, all complemented by those clean Rich bg colours. There seem to be very few quality macro images appearing onsite these days, by comparison with what we used to be treated to Sad

A cracking close up of this comma butterfly, the patterns and detail in its wings have been superbly recorded. I have hardly seen any of these this year although I did see one when out earlier today

Unlike me to miss one like this, too bust farting about with troublesome webcams and computers. Still, I got here in the end....Well they're a very common species to capture, but very tricky to capture showing the actual comma mark, good work Richard....
