Some lovely leads into this image Jim. Tranquil! You are getting some cracking images with your new camera. What a pity the phone companies can't bury their cables. However I think this could be cloned quite easily. Nice shot though regardless of the wire.

Two words spring to mind when looking at this image; tranquil and atmouspheric.

Moody, Misty and Meandering. Everything leads in nicely. Bags of atmosphere too. The grass looks dewey enough to show footprints.

Super scene, well captured, love the mist. Agreed with tenerifejohn about the wire but if it was your choice to keep it, who are we to object? When I do my country cottages, I spend hours cloning out telegraph poles, phone cables, street lights and the like. I wonder if the owners challenge the offending workers and ask them to keep all wires hidden, or at least the same colour, would help me if they did!

That wee bit path leads the eye to the cottage and the misty distant takes you back to the focal point well Jim.
