Beautiful shot Scott. The detail is superb.
Here's a tip for you if you use photoshop. Use a hue/ saturation layer to desaturate (make it less colourful) the image then paint the bird back in( to make it the same colour as it was). It'll make the bird stand out even more.

A lovely shot Scott. Well done.
A suggestion - try recropping to reduce the amount of background on the left and, if you can, increasing the background a bit more on the right. The Owl would sit better in the frame.
Still a great shot.

That's a beautiful image. Brings out the softness of his plumage and the subtle colouring too. I think you've chosen a good shot in the fact that he's sitting in a fork of a tree and the shape of his tail mirrors it perfectly. You have a good eye for a shot.

Super well posed capture Scott but feel that the highlights need reducing to bring out more detail around the softer parts of the plumage around the head.

So pleased to spot one of my favourite owls and this one is a real beauty. I love the markings on the feathers.
