10 green bottles...

By Chinga
The Theme: Green!
Thank you for your very funny comments on yesterday's silly shot...
Today's images are from a lovely cottage in North London with a very interesting deccor! Green bottles all over the wall!
The shadows are from a lamp post... just couldn't avoid it.
As the UK has been battered last night by this Severe Storm spare a thought for those affected by storm dammage, no electricity, transport problems and those who lost their lives... This was a nasty one.
Hope you are all OK, stay warm and stay safe.

They must have been thinking of you when they built this, I bet your eyes lit up when you spotted it. - gary

There could be several views about the position of the green bottle but I think you have got it about right in No. 2.

Built with you on mind Isabel. I once saw a couple laying upturned green wine bottles into a pathway - would suit you to a tee!! V sad for those affected via the storm - we left slightly eatlier yesterday to get home.

Excellent spot and captures, Isabel, it's a good thing they are located in sosmeone's cottage wall, otherwise no doubt they would have been broken by nowSmile Carol

Beautiful shot- nice colour to the mortar and the green bottle among the stone is a great touch. I did bury a champagne in a stone wall I was building once, about 40 years ago, its still there, as is the memory of when the bottle was emptied, regards
