My first upload for nearly a week – hedge trimming, painting at younger daughter’s flat, exam invigilation at a local Sixth Form College(I now feel fully qualified to advise when paint is dry!!Smile) and other essential jobs have had quite an effect on my EPZ activity.

Three shots from the archives, all taken in/around the beautiful village of Liausson in the Languedoc region of Southern France.

V1 was taken on the balcony of a friends’ house in the village and is my Shadow Saturday contribution.

V2 was taken from the summit of Mont Liausson(1755 feet) and shows the village of Liausson with the Lac du Salagou(an irrigation reservoir) behind.

V3 is a much cropped shot of Liausson taken from the summit – V1 was taken to the left of the church and white van and just behind the beautiful purplish display of flowers(centre left).

Many appreciative thanks to everyone who viewed, Voted and commented on ‘The Chain Bridge’ upload and a special mention to Graham(digital_boi), Dave(mistere), Nezih(nonur), Dave(ugly) and Simon(SimonFletch) for their cherished and much valued User Awards!SmileSmileSmile

Have a great and, hopefully, sunny weekend.

Richard

Yes its a very busy time of the year Richard - hopefully a quieter weekend is in store for you.
Three very interesting shots tonight. I love the views in v2 and v3, and v1 is a splendid upload for Saturday shadows SmileSmile

Three images each worthy of it's own slot - putting us in the mood for holidays in the sun.
Love V1 with it's Saturday Shadow.

That's a busy spell you have had so nice to get back to a relaxing time on site.
Love the white petunias against the brick coloured wall, and with the strong shadows cast.
And your two views looking down from above take in such a sweep of the countryside, esp. V 2.
I particularly like the closer focus on the village and it's immediate surroundings in V 3.
Wonderful images from southern France.
R.

Welcome back, Richard, you have been a busy person.
Love the botanical shadows, they look good against the ochre wall and rusty hanger...!
That's some view from up the top of Mont Liausson and you had some interesting looking clouds, too.
