Bird spotting in Turkey

By movingmountain
During a bird spotting day with a colleague we had a rare meeting with a brown bear about 100km north of Ankara. She had two babies with her of which one can be seen on the photo. She could easily have chosen to attack us, but instead she chose for a nice pose with her baby. Original photo included in version 1.

I have found that 97% of bears are very civil and sort of live and let live. I met one outlaw bear once. He was very angry and it showed. This mom seems to be in top condition and looks soooo good. Direct looks really make an fine photograph. TG
