As far as photography is concerned I was given a cheap trust digital camera to record the development of my son in February 2004.
I moved onto a Minolta Dimage Z1, which really started my interest.
I then bought a Minolta Dynax 7 film camera to learn the fundamentals.
Its a superb SLR and one of the best tools any photographer can have.
when I became better and felt I had outgrown my Z1 for digital shots I took the plunge and bought my first DSLR the 350D. I like it a lot as I can get similar results to my Dynax 7.
I think I really started taking photography seriously around July 2005, when I started to grasp the basics.
I am now completely hooked as its a way to express the little artistic talent I have, I am self taught mainly from uploading to sites like this, and reading some books.
as I say I have been serious about photography for few months now and totally appreciate any advice offered as I still have a lot to learn.
thank you for taking the time to read this
