As Ben Elton was once heard to remark - "politics Ladies and Gentlemen - yes indeedy!" I like the symbolism which really does demonstrate the adage; a picture tells a thousand words. Great satire, excellent imagination and superb execution. Nice one Mo.

Thanks guys, the image is purely political and symbolic of the actions of our mighty leaders. I wonder if I would have originally voted for Mr Bliar (typo honest) if I knew he would be using divine guidance for his foreign policies rather than the will of the people who put him in power Wink

It looks really good Mo. I have a meeting now but I'll think more about this later. I know it would go over very well where I work here in Berkeley CA! Actually there should be a separate red Berkeley flag coming right off of the China flag, but that's another story!

Yes, that 'divine guidance' thing is scary! I think it is the same 'guidance' that manifests itself in suicide bombings and mental hospital admissions! As for your image, it seems like every country takes turns falling off the flower. For now, I guess it's us. That may not last long for the US because the religious conservatives days in power appear to be numbered over here. Their popularity numbers have dropped dramaticallty not just because of the Iraq war but because of their extreme views in general. Of course, sometimes the whole flower gets old and all the petals fall off, but that's another story!
