Tis Chilly!

With almost nothing of note flowering I stumbled round in the cold seeing if I could find ...anything! Then tucked away was this wee Primula. No sooner seen than snapped. The frost crystals are almost rectangular in shape.

Another excellent shot Mike and full marks for finding it.
As before and even with that +0.33, it's a bit underexposed, meaning that the tones are flattened slightly.
It may be that 'Programme' mode is the culprit. Try 'Aperture' perhaps? I know you know how to!
Anyway, a threshold adjustment using curves does the trick.

Yes Bren, on this occasion I did indeed under expose the flower to better show the clever detail that nature had bestowed upon it. I'm using Aperture almost exclusively now too; another bit of advice from you that I have stuck with Smile
