Broken Daylight

I have officially been initiated into the world of UrbEx thanks to a few friends on a forum I frequent.

This is a photograph taken from a magnificent building in a village near Market Rasen. Unfortunately much of the inside has been trashed by others who don't follow the guide of "take only pictures, leave only footprints".

It is, however, certainly a place I will go again, as though I was there 2 hours, we didn't see even half of it!

This shot reminded me of an old painting i'd seen somewhere, so I decided to go for the more worked HDR look.

Not to everyones taste I'm sure, but it was what was in my head when I took the shot.

Love these sort of images - Been UrbExing several times and it can be so much fun, there are so many amazing images you can get from these old tired buildings.
