Falls at Falloch

By MrsMad
When we first arrived at the falls on the Saturday of the Rowardennan meet Ian, the camares and myslef got soaked from the rain and the spray from the falls. So I decided to try and protect the camera somewhat by moving down toward the river and got this shot.

This is my fist shot using my new 4 stop ND filter. I am pleased with the result of this photo getting the water's appearance like a bridal veil was my intention. I feel that you can almost hear the speed with which the water is gushing past in the middle part of the picture. I know this will not be to everyone's taste, but I am very happy with it.

Any comments/critique welcome.

Robbie

Well you got the effect you wanted, which is always a good start. You really get a feel for the power of the river rushing by, nice one.

You got what you set out for Robbie, so job done ... whether it's to peoples taste is neither here nor there, you set a target and you achieved it!!!

Personally, I like it too Smile
