Rose Coloured Specs

By MrsMad
This was taken first thing on Saturday morning at Loch Freuchie I like to colour pink in the sky with cloud/mist just coming over. I would have liked some frost detail in the foreground, but did not manage it with this shot.

I have used a couple of graded filters on this, but I kept on having to remove them as they kept on misting or freezing up.

Any comments etc welcome, thanks for looking

Love that cloud hanging over the Loch.

Misting filters seemed to be the order of the weekend for us too. Great to meet up again Robbie, glad you got home safely.

Hi Folks,

Thanks for the comments. Glad to hear that I was not the only one with filter problems.

Good to meet up with you all.

Another one with misting filters here. I am going to work on fog free filters as soon as I finish building my anti rain on lens/filter fan prototype.

Ahh, I have a similar shot with the similar misty filters - anyone would have thought we were all standing in a line Wink

Just being a pain the in preverbial, I flipped this horizontally, and it seems to work more for me that way. Ho-hum Grin Still love it though.

I like the dark and light layers in this and the cloud along the hill makes it. Considering how clear the sky was you have done well to get any colour in it.

Hmm, perhaps you shouldn't hug your camera bag so protectively while Ian is bombing around those slippery lanes... the filters might get to ambient temp more quickly Wink

But even so, they do tend to fog up if the sun hits them...

LOvely shot, just as I remember it Smile

Cheers, GOggz
