Just been reading your input about clicks in one of the forums.
This has the makings of a great photo - and given the basic camera that you are using it is a very good effort. The essentials are there, interesting reflections in the water and so on. The sky is a bit overexposed, but you could help that along a bit using photoshop, or similar software.
Bear in mind that a picture, such as this, can be helped enormously with a bit of foreground interest, perhaps some reeds or so on. Also if you mark your pix for CRITIQUE when u upload you will get more feedback. HTH, stephen

First can I say, I pulled out some lovely floating logs from the scene just before taking it. LOL I'm such a perfectionist, they looked untidy to me.

You can learn a lot about images by studying other images on the site - analyse why you like or dislike them - look at what makes a great composition and what makes a dull composition. Photography is largely about seeing things in unusual ways, and this site has the full range - as I'm sure you can see for youself!

I know the words well and ofter listen to Nickel Creek's version of this beautiful piece of poetry/song. Nice to see 'Sweet Afton' Any chance of a shot of 'My Mary' now? Only joking. It's a very nice shot. John
Great reflections and this deserves more attention.
I like this the colour and reflections are stunning. My own take on foreground interest is that some shots really need it and others don't, in my opinion this works quite well without it, the thing to do if possible is get another shot with some fg interest and see what you think.

Agree with Matt, this works quite well, without those logs, lovely reflections, they make the picture interesting.
