i like it. the vignetting works really well for this image.
apparently we are getting some snow tomorrow between 2 and 4 only.
we were told not to get our hopes up as it probably was sleet anyway.

It's deeper but messier this morning. I'm still staying indoors.
Incidentally, I added some vignetting but mainly the effect comes from the street lamp. These were replaced a few years ago and the new lamps are supposed to reduce light pollution in the sky significantly, it does seem to be working.

Grainy here too. Big white ones.
At times like this one is grateful for indoor plumbing and facilities, an outdoor privy would not be tempting, no matter how desperate the 'situation' was.

It's frozen to solid ice here, treacherous underfoot. I can't even get out for the local paper.

They have a substantial built-in reflector above the bulb, which increases illumination below and prevents light escaping upwards. A great improvement on the old ones.
