Bar meals (were) served daily

Reflections in the very grimy perspex of a local bus shelter...
Inspired by BobbyMS's uploads – but I'm afraid Prudhoe's reflections aren't as glamorous as Toronto's.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

Not so glamorous, but easier to relate to, especially when they include the sign re. leasing. An unfortunate sign of current times. The distortion reflecting (pun intended) how everything is out of kilter at present.

Nice one, Moira. And to my eye, just a hint of Paul Klee.

Paul Klee, esoteric weirdness - that's a fine compliment. Grin

The reflections are every bit as good as the Toronto ones Moira. I can't imagine anyone wanting to lease a pub at the moment. They were struggling before the pandemic and now the possible requirement of vaccine proof will only discourage custom when they re-open.

The sad story of retail high streets... everyone trailing past in the glimmer of hope that their pub is open 😢😢

Very nicely processed and presented, Moira.
Think I would've called this: A reflection of how it was. Smile

Prudhoe and Toronto have one thing in common. We'll need a passport to visit the pub's.
Excellent reflections Moira.

I’m grateful for your suggesting I try using the square format, as here, for some of my “reflectors”. As usual, you have included social commentary, boosting the interest level in this very fine glass reflection. Everything nicely square and a careful hand in PP.

Another casualty of the lockdowns. I wonder how many more to follow? You have used an interesting reflection to illustrate it, rather than a straight-on image. Much more interesting!

For some reason the first thing that popped into my head was the old lady who lived in a shoe. I have no idea why. But I really like this. It's like a fairytale.

Thank again folks, and thanks Sandy for the UA. And yes, I see what you mean, slightly fairy-tale in character.

When I looked at the thumbnail, I thought it was Bobbys! 😃 What struck me is that the lettering is all the right way round, not what we'd expect in a reflection! Sad to see, and it makes you wonder what places will still be open for business what this crisis is all over 😳 Nice capture, by the way! 😃👍

Yes I did too...I think its the crosses of all the window frames, but I do not know why either.
Very fetching reflection Moira, colours, framing, details, distortions (all things named above) are just right.. A lovely result!
