Dreams and glazing bars 2

By mrswoolybill
B&W, and a different crop. Square seemed to work with this one, not with colour.
As I mentioned before, the light is shining through the rather dirty artwork, from the hair salon behind it. Catch the right balance with the light outdoors and it creates a sort of glow.
Once again the site doesn't recognise my Emergency Lumix, and won't allow me to type the model in...
Thanks for looking,
Moira

Almost voyeuristic...

Great shot with huge appeal.

Thanks for sharing Moira.

Like both versions. One notices different details in the mono version.

Blimey! I have been off line for a while (I am now the proud possessor of a root canal filling and a thumping headache... ) I needed a pick-me-up! Thanks to (deep breath) M Hobson, Ken, Nathan, Kurt, Ollie and Dave for the honour of their UAs.
Guarded thoughts... Wish I had thought of that...

Liked the original colour upload of this Moira, and whilst I tend to prefer colour over mono of the same image (albeit a slightly different crop), I have to prefer this mono! Smile

I prefer the tighter crop of your colour version but going square may not have allowed you to crop so tightly.

I tend to go instinctively for square but somehow it didn't work with the colour version, it did work here for me.
Thanks everyone, and thanks to Sylvia for adding her UA. It's turning into a better day than I expected...

This is excellent with the square crop and b&w. Love how the light drops off just under her eyes and it makes you look closer to see more. I might have darkened the right side but still love it.

Didn't think I'd like a mono of this image Moira but you've made such a good job of it that i have to say that it's every bit as good as the colour version and seen through certain eyes, even better.
