By mrswoolybill
Couldn't resist taking this one... As Oscar Wilde said, I can resist anything except temptation.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

He seems to fancy the cowboy look but he's no Slim Pickens.

Well worth having a sit down to take in the complexities of this piece of vintage engineering: such an interesting place to visit and enjoy.

Looks like the loco we travelled on at Beamish! In fact, looking at my images, it is.... Wink As well as the loco being heavy engineering, the chap sat there is quite well engineered too! Blush Had to be taken... Grin

It's the replica Puffing Billy, Trev. If we had had this chap for ballast the ride might have been less bumby...
Thanks folks.

The construction of that engine must have been the inspiration for the contraptions in Wallace and Gromit Smile

At least his shirt is tucked in. He must be thinking back to the old days and his love of locomotives. Great fun shot Moira.

Mal, this one normally doesn't leave Beamish, but it may have put in a guest appearance at Tanfield, it's only a few miles down the road.
