Norbury Brook

By mrswoolybill
Litter and reflections. But also forensic evidence of a lively and diverse community. This is just a few minutes walk from our daughter's house in Thornton Heath.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

A good image but I hate litter as much as I dislike graffiti. Let's bring back the stocks for the litter droppers and wall scribblers, the vegetables thrown at them could then be put to good use......as revered objects. ( for DaveU Grin). Now where did I put my morning medication?!Grin

Nine o'clock on a Sunday morning.
Bright sunshine, fresh air, birds singing, minimal traffice noise.
A dozen young men were playing cricket in the nearby park, rather stylishly too.

Amazing to see... Love the reflections, but the rest of it has a few stories to tell for sure...
Good eye Moira, Isabel GrinGrin
I hate the casual disregard for the environment, we all live in it and yet we pollute without thought or regard for others.

It's different and interesting, Moira.

I'm left wondering as to why the photo/painting is there?

Makes a great subject but very sad to see people littering the waterways

It's so hard to understand how people can be so thoughtless. There's a sadness in this with the portrait floating on the water.
Wonderful image

A well framed and interesting capture of this rubbish Moira Smile It does annoy me though that people can't be ars*d to put their rubbish in a bin. Only earlier today going uptown, on my way to the bus stop there was a large pizza container and three empty beer bottles discarded on the grass verge SadSad
Off me soapbox now... Wink
