Ray and Ian 3

By mrswoolybill
Another from the National Glass Centre. These two guys are highly skilled, passionate about what they do, and also very good communicators. In normal times they give several demonstrations a day, always creating something different and unique, always fascinating.
Thanks for everyone who made very helpful comments on yesterday's upload. You helped clarify the questions in my mind, albeit with a number of answers still competing!
Thanks for looking,

Great image, looking good in mono.
About to share a gem of knowledge, while the other gentleman is so focussed. A fine capture GrinGrinGrinGrin

Taken at the peak moment, when he was making a point to his audience. Great expression and the other worker wrapped up in his glassmaking. Super mono, Moira.

caught attention
something moving in this simplicity
reaaly loved this; what we call "portrait en contexte", (something living, in the activity shown - sorry, don't know how to express it...) and the echoing men in a diagonal, and also this priceless look in the first man's eyes

Good to see these two again ... I've missed them! A glorious shot which captures the animation and enthusiasm of one and the concentration of the other. There's something about Ray (for some reason I'm assuming that he is the speaker) which puts me in mind of Lee Mack about to launch into one of his comic tales while button holing someone in the front row of the audience. 🤣 Any chance of getting him to team up with a Bob Mortimer look alike ... or, better still, Bob Mortmer? Just a thought ....... 😆
I've just been sitting here idly polishing this splendid trophy so you might as well have it. 🏆
