The connoisseur

The current visiting art exhibition at the National Glass Centre, Sunderland.
I found some of the exhibits puzzling too...
Thanks for looking,

Thank you ladies! I should have added that this was photographed through an exhibit, a pattern printed onto glass panels. I was hoping to create a soft frame, photographing between two X-shapes, but it didn't quite work out because my subject moved at the wrong moment.

Worked out pretty well as far as I'm concerned... faultless composition.
I particularly like the way it almost seems to melt away on the left side.
And his pose is perfect.

Picked out of the gallery as an interesting image. If an image makes us look and investigate further it is usually worth showing, and this one is...The right hand shadow is a little distraction.

Groan. At least you had the decency to blush at that, Dougie.
Cheers everyone, I'm home on a flying visit, I'll have a bit more time this evening...

I see him as adjusting his glasses to better scrutinize what he is looking at. I'd almost eat my hat to have an exhibit like this to photograph.

Now,now Moira, people in glass houses should not throw stones.
I confess I have found some of the woolys LB shots on here a bit puzzling too !!
No LB shot here,so only as half as puzzling.
(And has anyone ACTUALLY completed a rubik-cube here I wonder ?)

So idiosyncratic, I know, but still I like to think that those pieces of glass behind him are reflecting his divided feelings and judgements, Moira.
