Nice try....

Some things I do with flowers.

Use tripod....
No need for a high iso.
Try for a plainer b/g...even if its some card.
Shutter speed too fast.....came out too dark.
Tweak comp to get bottom petal in - or loose them all around.

It can be brightened and sharpened in processing - but it gave some noise so had to use noiseware so lost some detail.

Thank you! Your advices are brilliant. This photo I took one year ago, and yes, I was just trying to see how "it feels". As I went further, I began to understand more and I'm yet learning. Thank you!
