12 Oct 2005 12:27AM
Wonderful stuff!

If I'm being really picky... the light on the heron is coming from top left, light on the pot is from the front, light on the case is front right - if the shadows agreed I think it would "gel" better Wink

Congrats on the EC too!

Congrats on the EC dude, it's a worthy image. I would say though that your chess board floor might be being overused a bit now.

Check out the floor of The black lodge in David Lynch's Twin Peaks. Now there's a floor ;o)

thank you all very much, thanks pete- and thanks mattmatic for the constructive, i totally agree. there are several things i have noticed since posting it to correct. i know it is getting over-exploited rab, but i love the background and it makes me think of so many things i'd like to do with it.

Very impressive work here!
I think the heron and the plants sticking out from the birdcage could use some more shadows on them. besides that a great image.

Fabulous, you have an amazing portfolio, I must spend the day there some time!

congratulations on the EC, totally deserved for an excellent image - i love your surreal style and can always recognise new work you upload.

great depth to the image and good lighting - i agree about the lighting around the pot and heron but personally don't think it spoils the look of the image.

keep up the great work - look forward to seeing your next stuff =)

Great, great, great!!!!!11
I love the way the : "Aves del Paraiso" "Birds of the paradise"(flowers) thas is how we call them in South America are trying to be real birds and the real bird is trying to be a flower, very ironic, like real life but in a surreal piece of Art Smile great work! Smile
Love it!!!!
