*Candy Floss Sky

By Mynett
Taken at the end of the day - Candy Floss Airways paint the sky a glorious shade which reflects in the incomming tide. We watch and wait and wet our feet as the sun goes to sleep, Not a sound other than the gentle water as it creeps over the sand.

I know many will not like the jet stream, but I left it in as it makes a splash of intense colour to the sky....

Many thanks to all who commented on my Postcard from Newquay which got a much better response than I had expected.

A big thank you to jujupops for her user award on this one and for all the very kind words. xx

Love your poetic intro up top, Linda, exactly suiting the mood of this lovely calm peaceful sunset.
The con trails actually add a wee bit interest in the top left corner and are in no way a distraction to my mind.

Hi Linda, so easy to take out the jet-stream but it was there when you pressed the shutter button and it is small enough not to distract from this beautiful tranquil seascape, the gentle lapping of the sea and colours of the sunset make you shut your eyes and relax, first class image.

Beautiful sky and reflections on the milky water.
Just enough land mass to add interest.
Don't mind the jet stream myself.

I think its beautiful myself.

the jetstreams tend to ruin a normal blue sky..but with this colour, it adds a little something in my opinion Smile

Nah...I always love vapour trails. And this one is a doozy with that hot orange-pink going on. Lovely colours and smoothness here, Linda.

Such a calming and beautiful image Smile
